In our previous article, we explored the challenges that Direct Link encountered while attempting to establish a presence in the Chinese market. We also delved into the reasons behind Direct Link's choice of eTower as their logistics technology provider for cross-border e-commerce business between China and the global market. This week, we will concentrate on the solutions that eTower has offered to Direct Link and celebrate the successes we have achieved together as long-standing partners.

Founded in Sweden in 1986, Direct Link is a leading provider of e-commerce, communication, and logistics solutions, primarily in the Nordic region. In 2020, the company took a significant leap by collaborating with eTower, a SaaS platform under WallTech (Shanghai) Co, Ltd., to tackle the challenges of system integration, unstable system availability, and low response efficiency.

How eTower System Empowered Direct Link

The eTower system served as the bridge between Direct Link and its customers, fulfilling the need for system integration between clients and logistics suppliers.

“eTower offers a comprehensive suite of functional modules designed to enable multi-party collaboration throughout the entire logistics process. The system consists of more than 10 main modules like operational stations, account management, role management, financial management, and service configuration. Additionally, it has over 20 sub-modules covering tasks such as order placement, scanning, sorting, bagging, and dryline transportation.”

From the seller's dispatch to the buyer's receipt, eTower facilitates a seamless one-stop solution for cross-border logistics - including order placement, label printing, scanning, weighing, and packaging for outbound shipments.

The platform accommodates various modes of order placement and label printing, fulfilling Direct Link's diverse service requirements and ensuring successful deliveries.

A Unifying Platform

The eTower system also integrates multiple last-mile resources, offering a unified entrance that makes it easier for senders to place orders using various services. As a result, Direct Link evolved from a limited, vertical domain to a highly adaptable business, fortified by reliable and powerful data analytics and reporting capabilities.

Additionally, eTower has now integrated over 60 state-level last-mile delivery carriers, offering a unified entry point and convenience for international shippers to place orders using different carriers’services on the platform.
